This Privacy Policy describes how the Ringdroid - ringtone editor application ("the App") handles user data. The App is designed to work fully offline and respects user privacy by processing all data locally on the device.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

The App does not collect any personal information. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Location data
  • Account information

Audio Files

The App allows users to:

  • Access audio files stored on their device
  • Edit audio files to create ringtones, notifications, or alarms

All audio processing is performed entirely on the user’s device. No audio files are uploaded, transmitted, or shared with any external servers or third parties.

Internet Usage

The App does not request or use internet access.

  • No network connections are made
  • No data is transmitted outside the device
  • No analytics, ads, or tracking services are used

Permissions

The App may request permissions required for core functionality, such as:

  • Access to local media files (to select and edit audio)
  • Modify audio files saved by the user (to create ringtones)
  • To set as default ringtone.
  • Contacts permission to set contact specific ringtone.

These permissions are used only for the ringtone editing features and nothing else.

Data Sharing

The App does not share any data with:

  • Third-party services
  • Advertisers
  • Analytics providers
  • Cloud services

All files remain under the user’s control on their device.

Children’s Privacy

The App is suitable for users of all ages.

  • The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
  • No online features, accounts, or tracking mechanisms are present.
  • The App complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Data Security

Because the App operates fully offline and does not collect or transmit personal data, user privacy risks are minimal to none. All edited audio files remain stored locally on the device.

User Control

Users have full control over their data:

  • Audio files can be edited or deleted at any time
