@WebReflection Thanks for bringing this up, this is actually a great use-case for perry. I'd be more than happy to facilitate this, I am just not personally very involved with IoT. Would you be willing to test this when we roll this out and do you have some use-cases for it? Asking because I have limited bandwith, so I can provide the "technically this should work" state of things but testing it is a whole different ball game. Interested? :) |

When the docs state "it runs everywhere" I couldn't find ESP32 (as example) as potential target and I'd love to explore the idea of having Perry capable/able to also run in those machines, 'cause DeviceScript has been abandoned and it's weird there's no TS running on IoT devices (there is Espruino and other variants, mostly JS + no UI capabilities).

I believe most things should "just work", simply because I've developed PyScript (Python and MicroPython on the Web) and run a lot of software in MicroPython that came directly from JS expectations:
