From 1a0ecf7f534a67a910b7b5a7e0abe46be074c609 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "Douglas R. Colkitt" Date: Tue, 13 Oct 2026 16:45:24 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] Stop historical status sections from claiming to be current docs/research/current-status.md repeated "# Current reviewed status" under the #1042 and #942 snapshots. Its October 8 section still carried "Current contracts", "Exact current parameters" and a "Next research priority" pointing at the bit network, which no longer binds. Rename those headings to name their checkpoint and add one banner where the history begins. No section body changes. A new test keeps the first heading as the only "current/selected/next research" heading and checks it against selected-result.json (decimal, review, reproduce). It fails on the previous text.
